Efficiency of producing results under deadlines - staff were working during Christmas holiday to hit the 31st Dec deadline.

Client

Early on when they were pitching to win our business, they were very upfront, very honest and we liked the people we met, and we are still dealing with all of those people, which is great.

Glen Obee, Chairman, Motorline

Thank you for confirmation that completion has taken place, I am delighted with the outcome and for all the hard work that you and your team have put in to get the deal done on time.

The Legal 500 2020

They have a very broad scope of skillsets. There isn’t a department we have yet managed to exceed or not have advice where we need it.

Glen Obee, Chairman, Motorline

Thomson Snell & Passmore have been working for us for over 25 years and have been thorough and competent on all matters they have dealt with for us, and all done in an extremely courteous and caring way. We have had to work with other practices in fields TS&P do not cover such as immigration and criminal and TS&P distinctly stand out as way ahead of others. The contracts were very thorough and well explained and all follow up documents timely sent. Also and this is important - the busy schedule I have personally at the moment leads to me overlooking things I need to respond to and TS&P colleagues all remind me what I need to do without me feeling hassled or harassed! They are polite, discreet and just firm enough to illicit my timely responses. Have recommended in the past and would still.

Chambers UK 2019

Their expertise in this sort of deal was considerable, and they foresaw all the likely issues, and addressed them well ahead of time, meaning that there were no hold ups to completing the deal or any nasty surprises.

Client

I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks to Joanne Gallagher, Faye Cook and the rest of the team at Thomson Snell & Passmore’s Corporate and Commercial Department for their assistance in relation to a recent acquisition of a book of intermediated investment assets. Given a relatively tight time schedule, they worked efficiently and tirelessly, sometimes late into evenings to ensure everything was agreed and in place prior to the completion deadline. I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received. They are professional, knowledgeable, diligent and also very nice people to deal with!

When we have asked our lawyers to work counterparts in other legal teams, at no point have we had any reservations that Thomson Snell & Passmore can’t hold their own and have always done an excellent job.

Extremely competent and on top of things! Jo Gallagher is always astute, competent and on top of matters. She is never fazed. Her team reflects that competence and attitude. It has happened more than once that TSP had to guide the lawyers of the other party in the process.
