Chambers UK 2022

Through the excellent conduct of Kamal and his team his client achieved a settlement that was without doubt the right outcome for her and ensured the dispute was something that she can now put behind her. It is lawyers like Kamal that understand when is the time to fight and when it is time to negotiate that ensure that mediation sits at the very centre of dispute resolution today.

Jane Player, Mediator

Kamal recently supported and advised me through a very lengthy commercial dispute that led to a High Court trial and ultimately a court ordered mediation. The dispute took three years to come to trial, involved tens of thousands of pages of documents, a history which went back over fifty five years and a claim that ran into tens of millions of pounds. Throughout the process he was the complete professional as well as being both understanding and empathetic of my position. He and his team put an extraordinary amount of time and skill into my case in order to ensure that I achieved the best possible outcome. He was always firm but fair when dealing with our opponents lawyers and amply demonstrated his negotiating skills during the very long and drawn out mediation which ultimately led to a very satisfactory outcome for me. His communication skills, explanation of the process and guidance throughout could not have been bettered. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
