Katherine Morgan

Katherine is an experienced real estate solicitor at Thomson Snell & Passmore. She has more than 11 years’ experience advising on all aspects of real estate transactions. This includes advising and assisting clients in the industrial warehouse, office and commercial waste sectors, covering all aspects of general and strategic portfolio management; lettings; lease renewals; securitisation and investment and commercial development; and acquisitions and disposals. Katherine has considerable experience in real estate finance matters, acting for major UK lenders and clearing banks and in particular, dealing with development finance transactions.

Katherine also works closely with the firm’s corporate M&A and banking & finance teams in providing corporate support on property aspects to clients undertaking corporate acquisitions or disposals.

Katherine prides herself on understanding her clients’ businesses in detail, to ensure her advice is both commercial and strategic.

Education

Katherine undertook an LLB Law Degree at Exeter University (2:1) and completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP, Holborn.

Katherine trained at a leading regional firm in Kent and subsequently spent 6 years in the City. Katherine joins Thomson Snell & Passmore from another leading Kent based firm.

Katherine has undertaken a number of professional exams in the wine industry having achieved Distinction at Level 2 WSET and Merit at Level 3 WSET. Katherine has recently passed her Spanish Wine Scholar exams (WSG) and is studying to become an Italian Wine Scholar.
