Kelly joined Thomson Snell & Passmore’s Court of Protection Team in February 2016 and is now a Senior Paralegal in the team. Kelly previously worked as a Paralegal for a Corporate City Firm.

  • Preparation of statutory will applications in both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Significant experience in dealing with pre-settlement cases
  • Liaising with care teams, case managers and clinical negligence lawyers
  • Liaising with a wide range of clinicians on behalf of clients
  • Liaising with benefit agencies regarding benefit applications and local authority funding
  • Financial management and detailed budgeting for large personal injury awards
  • Financial management and providing cost projections for clinical negligence lawyers in relation to ongoing claims for personal injury
  • Financial management of client files with a view to obtaining investment advice following settlement of personal injury claims
  • Liaising with builders and project managers regarding property purchases and adaptation projects.


Kelly graduated with a Law degree from Oxford Brookes University.
