Nicola is a Partner at Thomson Snell & Passmore, and Head of the Estates, Tax & Succession department.

Nicola provides traditional and high-level estate planning, inheritance and capital gains tax advice to individuals, families, business owners, charities and other organisations. Her work involves the creation and rearrangement of trusts; business protection and succession planning for landed estates, entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses; the set up and administration of philanthropic and charitable organisations and assisting with international transactions requiring a notary public.

Education

Nicola completed her degree in European Commercial Law at Sussex University and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford. Nicola trained at Thomson Snell & Passmore & qualified as a solicitor in 2000.

Nicola completed the Post-graduate Diploma in Notarial Practice with the University of Cambridge and obtained her faculty as a notary in 2006.

She worked for some prominent private client firms in both London and the South East before returning to Thomson Snell & Passmore in 2015.
