Profile

Ruth joined the firm in 1982 as a trainee having completed a LLB (Hons) degree at the University of Nottingham and the Law Society's Finals at Guildford College of Law. Ruth qualified as a solicitor in 1983  and became a partner in 1991 working in branch offices for the firm in Ashford, Maidstone and Tonbridge prior to the establishment of a centralised Residential Conveyancing Department in Tunbridge Wells in 2005.

Worked hard to achieve completion date in a short time on a complex house sale.

Client

I was kept informed and Ruth quickly dealt with any issues.

Client

This is the third time we have used the conveyancing services of Ruth Harwood and have always been very satisfied.

Client

It was clear that Ruth knew what she was talking about and she took the time to explain everything to us, particularly as we always had lots of questions!

Client

Ruth was very responsive to emails and gave advice when needed - although the purchase was much more straightforward than the linked sale. She also ensured that the matter was dealt with in the tight timescale that we wanted so that we could complete the purchase before Christmas.

Client

Ruth understood the process inside out - she had the experience and expertise required to ensure that everything progressed smoothly on our side.

Client

Ruth provided an exemplary service throughout. I was kept very well informed at all stages - and felt that everything was handled professionally and without any unnecessary delay.

Client

Ruth was very professional at all times and always kept us in the loop. Use of email and written follow up was excellent.

Client

Pointed out issues relating to adoption of the sewage system by South West Water. Detailed advice on the contract, ensuring we were happy with the detail. Transparency of fees. All delivered in a very short timescale.

Client

I wanted to thank you for the excellent service we received from you and TS&P during the sale of our flat. You were at all times professional, thorough and persistent, and managed to keep the momentum going, resulting in a very swift sale, which was a great result. We will happily recommend you to any friends and family who are looking for legal advice.
