Partner, Family

Sarah Judd

As a long serving Partner in the Family Department approaching the end of her practising career, Sarah has participated fully in the department and the firm and continues to do so.

She has had involvement in many long running and challenging cases, and has had familiarity with the Family Court jurisdiction and the High Court.

She believes in a supportive but firm approach to all her clients, some of whom have found themselves in traumatic, distressing and potentially dangerous circumstances. She approaches all her clients’ issues with the same level of professionalism and care, believing that the outcome needs to be in the best interests of her client.

She finds it indicative of her approach that there are occasions when she has been asked to advise children, grandchildren and wider family members of her former clients, and on occasions when there are no issues of conflict to advise former opponents. She is prepared to “give what it takes” to represent those who seek advice and representation from her.
