William Chivers

Will is a Corporate Lawyer who specialises in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance and other corporate advisory and transactional work.

Before joining Thomson Snell & Passmore in 2019 as a Trainee Solicitor, Will spent twelve months as a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution department at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where he worked on a high-profile group action litigation relating to product liability in the automotive sector.

Will was nominated for the Kent Junior Lawyers Division award, Junior Lawyer of the Year 2022.

Will was part of the transactional team which won the Insider Dealmakers Deal of the Year (£10 m+) 2022 and also the team that won Corporate Law Firm of the Year 2022.

Education

Will read law at The University of Exeter where he obtained an honours degree and went on to complete his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London Bloomsbury.

He joined Thomson Snell & Passmore in 2019 and was admitted as a solicitor in March 2022.
