Dealing with foreign assets on divorce

Anna Woodhoo acted for a client with regard to their financial proceedings. The client had multiple assets outside of the UK. During proceedings, the value of these assets and various foreign liabilities were contested. Anna dealt with the instruction of various experts to assist with the valuation of foreign assets, advice on the potential tax consequences of dealing with those assets and expert translation of foreign documents. Having gathered all of the necessary information, Anna assisted the client to negotiate a settlement outside of court and has continued to assist the client in relation to the implementation of the order and with an ongoing dispute concerning the arrangements for the children.
