Thomson Snell & Passmore advise nurture landscapes on their 19th acquisition

The corporate and commercial team here at Thomson Snell & Passmore is delighted to say that it has recently assisted Nurture Landscapes in making made its 19th acquisition. Nurture has bought Enterprise Plants, a company with £4m annual sales based in Upminster, Essex.

The completion of another successful acquisition and the welcoming of Enterprise into the Nurture family is very encouraging. Nurture Landscapes’ existing funding package now totals £35m and the company’s turnover has increased to £80m. Nurture Landscapes’ business consists of landscape maintenance, winter gritting, plant displays and design and build construction. The majority of Nurture’s turnover is attributed to landscape maintenance to the corporate sector.

Enterprise Plants will double the existing plant display business. It will also increase the Nurture group’s clientele across London and the home counties. The company’s recent growth has meant it now employs more than 1,100 people across the country.

Peter Fane, managing director of Nurture Landscapes, commented:

It is apparent that Nurture Landscapes has grown considerably over the last 12 months and we are pleased to be able to assist Nurture every step of the way. This acquisition, like others, is exciting for Peter and his team, who are continuously working to progress the company as a whole.

Peter and his team at Nurture Landscapes have plans to substantially increase their sales over the next five years. They have aspirations to grow organically by £8-10m per year and to acquire two businesses with sales of between £8m and £10m each year.
