Thomson Snell & Passmore assists long standing client Nurture Landscapes in securing a £57m investment

Nurture Landscapes Group, one of the UK’s fastest growing landscaping and horticultural services businesses, has secured £57m in funding from All Seas Capital. Law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore advised long-standing client Nurture Landscapes Group in relation to the matter.

Founded in 2008 by Peter Fane, and Headquartered in Surrey, Nurture Landscapes Group has grown steadily and now employs almost 2,000 staff, with predicted sales this year in excess of £140m.

In the past year, the Group has completed seven acquisitions, approaching its 50th overall, with the aim being to accelerate its growth organically and through a “careful choice” of deals comprising a blend of small and mid-market businesses.

Nurture will use the funding secured to accelerate its growth through future acquisitions of small and mid-market businesses. All Seas Capital’s two founding principals, Cristobal Cuart and Marc Ciancimino, will also take a place on Nurture’s main board.

Peter Fane, Nurture Landscape Group’s founder and executive chairman, comments: “We have built a successful business to date but are excited for the next stage of growth. We’re delighted that All Seas Capital is backing our business to help us accelerate our growth.”

“In taking this step, we were not just looking for capital investment, but also a partner that can add real value with their expertise to grow and strengthen the business.”

Jason Varney, Partner in Thomson Snell & Passmore’s Corporate department, adds: “As always, it has been an absolute pleasure assisting Nurture Landscapes in this latest stage of their history. We wish Nurture Landscapes and All Seas Capital all the best with their new partnership.”

Jason Varney, Partner in the Corporate department, led the project team at Thomson Snell & Passmore and was assisted by Joseph Hartland (Associate, Corporate) and Luke Guinan (Solicitor, Corporate), along with support from Alisa Sweeney (Partner, Commercial Property) and Ben Stepney (Partner, Employment).
