The land is occupied by a tenant under the terms of a tenancy protected by the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986. The client wants to develop the land via a major scheme.
Alison Sparks devised a strategy for the client to secure vacant possession of the farmland area and then assisted the client to execute that strategy.
The tenant resisted the landlord’s attempts to recover possession and the matter was referred to arbitration, on which we continue to advise our client.
