Thomson Snell & Passmore advises on sale of a golf club

Thomson Snell & Passmore recently acted for a new client in relation to the sale of a golf club in East Sussex.

Faye Cook, a Senior Associate in the Corporate & Commercial Team, led on the transaction. Penelope Edgar, Partner, advised on the Commercial Property aspects of the deal.

The transaction was guided by an extremely tight timetable, which allowed a total of six weeks from initial discussions to completion. The team steered the client through the process to ensure that the sale completed smoothly and in line with an urgent deadline. Given the short time frame for completion, the Corporate Team drafted the majority of the transaction documents, including the Heads of Terms and Share Purchase Agreement. The team also led various multi-party meetings in order to expedite the negotiation process.

Following our previous experience advising on several golf club acquisitions, this transaction has further developed our expertise in the sector.
