A national horticulture, landscape and grounds maintenance business headquartered in Surrey has completed its fifth acquisition in the last 12 months, with the latest deal taking its turnover to £35m and workforce to more than 500 employees.
Nurture has expanded with the takeover of the landscape maintenance operations of Bedfordshire-based Frosts Group. Nurture, headquartered in Windlesham, was advised on the undisclosed deal by Kent-based law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore.
The landscape maintenance business has annual sales approaching £4m and includes the provision of office plant displays and Christmas trees. The company’s 70-strong workforce and its contracts will transfer to Nurture on 1 August along with Frosts’ divisional director Darrel Hedden.
The transaction team at Thomson Snell & Passmore was led by corporate team, assisted by Catherine Linsell and Ben Stepney, a senior associate in the employment team. Gillian McCue at Blake Morgan provided specialist pensions advice.
