  • Overview

Leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has re-launched its employment fixed fee annual telephone and email advice service. Covering everything from routine phone queries to redundancy advice, the upgraded offering has been designed to work as an integral part of a business’s people management function.

There are now three packages organisations can choose from – silver, gold or platinum, depending on their individual needs. All packages include routine employment law and HR advice as well as the provision of template letters and emails.

The gold package also includes elements such as drafting, reviewing and amending documentation, for example to do with a disciplinary hearing, while platinum incorporates advising on restructuring and redundancy processes as well as settlement agreement negotiation.

Advice for all the packages will be delivered by Thomson Snell & Passmore’s team of expert employment lawyers.

Commenting on the new service, Nick Hobden, Head of Employment at Thomson Snell & Passmore says: “We know that handling employment law issues can be time consuming and costly. Following direct feedback from a range of clients, we are upgrading our advice service, with the launch of three new packages to meet individual circumstances.

This will help clients to continue to safeguard their businesses and give them ongoing peace of mind, all at a fixed fee and at a level of service that is best suited to their requirements.

The new packages build on Thomson Snell & Passmore’s existing employment law advice service, which has been well received by clients.

Commenting on the existing advice service, Anthony Young, People and Practice Manager at Base Quantum Limited says: “As a successful SME, we were looking for a highly efficient and professional service when dealing with HR and legal matters. We have been very impressed with Thomson Snell & Passmore’s employment advice service. They have provided excellent, comprehensive advice, which has fitted well with our requirements. It has given us confidence and comfort.

Bel UK Limited adds: “The advice and service we receive from the advice service is outstanding. The advice is always provided promptly, is very clear and balances the risk and the commercial aspects of any case.
