The Ministry of Justice has announced a refund scheme for Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) and Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPA) application fees paid between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2017. If you registered an LPA or EPA made in England and Wales between those dates you are probably entitled to between £45 and £54 per power plus 0.5% interest. This also applies to repeat application fees.
Either donor or attorney can claim but the refund must be paid to the donor’s bank account.
